Frequently Asked Questions About Our Buffalo Prom Limo Service

1) Why is it important for parents and students to book their prom limousines in advance?

You should book your prom limousine in the Buffalo and Western New York as far in advance as possible. Prom season, as we call it in the limousine industry is a very high demand time of year and limousines are usually on short supply – especially for Friday and Saturday night prom events. Many schools in the Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Western New York area schedule their proms on the same evenings. It is not uncommon for limousine companies to be doing 10 different prom events in one night. For this reason, you should schedule your limo as soon as possible.

2) What kind of Limos do you have available for prom in Buffalo or WNY?

We have Lincoln Towncar sedans that can accomodate 2 people all the way up to Excursion SUV limousines

3) What does Split Time Mean?

Split time means the time you are in your prom (the dance) does not count towards your limo time. For example, let’s say you book 5 hours split time of limousine service for your prom.  Your prom starts at 7pm. You want to be picked up at 5pm to use the limo for pictures and get a bite to eat. You would then have 3 hours of limousine time left to use after your prom, so if you wanted to get picked up at 11pm, you would have the limousine until 2am the following morning. The limo will not stay at the prom location while you are in the dance. This is a great time for parents to take a limo out for a few hours at a discounted rate – give us a call for details!

4) I live in Rochester and I need a limo for my prom. Will you come here for my Prom Event?

Yes, we currently service the Rochester area for proms. Give us a call to make your reservation!

5) What are your policies? Are you insured and legal?

Yes, we are! Feel free to check with our insurance agent, Insurance Solutions at (716) 282-SAVE. We carry over a million dollar insurance policy on our vehicles. We are a legal business in the state of New York. If you are renting a limousine, be sure that the company you are doing business with is a legitimate, legal business and has “LA” or “Livery” license tags on their vehicle. This is the only way you and/or your children are protected. We have a zero tolerance policy for alcohol or smoking. All students AND parents must sign our “Guidelines for Passengers Under the Age of 21″ for prom service.

Please call us today at 716-284-7040 to book your limousine or to make an appointment to come and meet us – we would love to show you our limousines for your prom in the Buffalo area!

Choosing a Limousine Service For Your Wedding

February 15, 2009

Finding the Best Transportation for The Most Important Day of Your Life
Posted By: Jim, Owner

You have decided to get married, the wedding is planned and the dresses are ready — how are you getting to the wedding location? Quite possibly the most popular form of transportation is, of course, by limousine. Due to it being one of the more frequently used modes of travel on various special occasions, scheduling can be something akin to moving the earth or stopping the rain. Neither is possible, but with some common sense and a clear list of what you want, achieving what seems impossible just got easier. There is no need to dread the search for the most professional company, simply keep a few important pointers in your head when you begin interviewing different limousine companies and your search will not only end better, but also be far less stressful. The first and possibly the most important factor to keep in mind is the fact that you should begin scheduling a reservation as early as three to four months or more prior to your chosen wedding date. This length of time allows for any scheduling changes as well as any unforeseen problems that could possibly arise in your agenda or that of the limousine company and ensures your reservation. Once this step has been handled, the rest is much easier.

Gathering pertinent information concerning the size of your wedding party and how you intend to travel to the wedding location, to the reception, and to any other locations is something that should be done prior to meeting with the limousine company. The best companies listen to your plans and try to adhere to them as best as they are able to. If you find yourself changing your plans to suit the company, perhaps a careful re-consideration is needed.

Choosing a company on the basis of costs or pricing arrangements only is not the best way to make your final choice. Paying a high price for services does not always guarantee the best or most professional service, nor does the lowest price always offer the best bargains or the worst service. Take the time to ask for customer referrals and if the company offers a  view of the vehicles, do indulge your curiosity.

Having a contract drawn up once you have settled on the details of your selected limousine or limousines for your wedding is strongly advised. Details should be included concerning the models being reserved, the number of vehicles, the interior perks such as wine, complimentary hors d’oeuvre and whether or not the chauffer will wear a tuxedo or business suit. Inclusion of any other details you have requested or were promised should all be listed, in detail, in the above mentioned contract.

An excellent limousine service will provide clean vehicles that receive regular maintenance as well as keep your desires in mind while maintaining a highly professional demeanor during the course of your business arrangement. Although they have no personal connection to you or your wedding on this very special day, they should have your happiness in mind when supplying their transportation services.

Valentines Day Limo Ideas in Buffalo!

January 30, 2009

It’s February, it’s cold and it’s snowing – in Buffalo. February also brings Valentines day and with that special night to take your significant other out for a night on the town one of the first things that come to mind is renting a limousine.

zkiss.jpgWe receive a lot of calls at our office for ideas on what to do when renting a limo for Valentines day. Oviously you can go to dinner which is a very popular buffalo limo service option.  There are a lot of other things that you can do too. How about a Niagara Wine Tour to the Niagara USA Wine Trail? You can even take a Niagara on the Lake wine tour in Canada. You can incorporate these wine tour options with dinner at such restaurants as Salvatore’s or the Skylon Tower. Some other ideas include taking a limo ride out into the county side or into the souther tier – maybe you would like to visit the Seneca Allegany Casino or visit the ski resort town of Ellicotville.

No matter what your idea, we can help. Be sure to book your Valentines Day limousine service in Buffalo and the WNY area soon as this weekend is filling up rather quickly. Should you have any questions at all, give us a call or send us an email - we would be honored to have you as our customer and help plan your special day this year.
